Help us Lay the Groundwork for MBS Students

As the first cohort in the Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program at SMU, we are 35 students discovering our path to healthcare professions through resilience and collaboration. We are future physicians, PAs, podiatrists, dentists, and researchers who will serve diverse communities.

With your support, we will establish the MBS Professional Development Student Group and make space beyond the classroom to grow into future providers. 

Our student group will host clinical skills workshops, bring in guest speakers from various medical specialties, and organize mock interview sessions for our applications to professional programs. 

We will also host peer mentorship events, exam preparation workshops, study groups, and wellness activities, ensuring that we foster a collaborative community and develop leadership skills.

Help us pave the way for future MBS cohorts as we support each other to create shared learning resources, develop professional readiness, and volunteer in local community health settings.
