Who You Are Supporting
A diverse class of 50 students who will contribute to the advancement of physical therapy as one of the fastest growing healthcare professions to date. From the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook for Physical Therapists in 2021-2031 is 17%, and continues to grow at a pace much faster than average.* The Class of 2025 is the first cohort back fully in-person since the pandemic, navigating a new era of interdisciplinary healthcare that is patient-centered. During the three year doctorate program at SMU, students learn important skills that help the individual as well as the local community through clinical rotations and Pro Bono experiences. Your contributions will not only help the professional growth of the Class of 2025, but also positively impact the future of physical therapy.

Our Goal
Raise money to fund our Board Exam at the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE). Through your contributions, the Class of 2025 will be able to cover not only NPTE exam itself but also related preparatory courses and materials which will help ensure our success.
An average cost for NPTE + prep courses would be $900 per student or $45,000 in total for our cohort. Our goal is to get each student in our cohort at least $150 in support to help offset this expense.
