We Need Your Support
On March 7th, 2025, the Samuel Merritt University College of Podiatric Medicine Class of 2028 will reach a significant milestone in their academic journey: the White Coat Ceremony. This cherished tradition marks their transition from classroom learning to clinical practice, symbolizing their dedication to providing expert and compassionate care in the field of podiatric medicine.
However, funding for this momentous occasion is limited, leaving students to bear the financial responsibility while managing the challenges of a rigorous academic program. The White Coat Ceremony is not only a celebration of their hard work but also a reflection of the commitment they are making to the profession, as well as the health and wellbeing of future patients.
With your generous support, we can lift this financial burden, enabling students to focus on their studies and fully appreciate this milestone alongside their loved ones. Your contributions will help ensure the White Coat Ceremony is a memorable and inspiring occasion, celebrating the spirit of excellence and unity that defines the next generation of podiatric physicians.
Our Goal
The University provides the venue, and the DPM Department provides the white coats. Our goal as students is to secure funds for catering, photography, and decorations that are essential for the success of the ceremony. All contributions will go toward the DPM 2025 White Coat Ceremony. Should there be any surplus funds after covering the ceremony expenses, they will be used to support the additional needs of the cohort. With the generous support of our friends, families, and support systems, our target is to raise $5,000.
